About the Course
About the Course Most coaching systems were built for the ideal athlete, not the real human standing in front of you. So when things donβt go as planned, when behavior shifts, when the body doesnβt respond the way it βshould,β coaches are left guessing. Not because they donβt care, but because no one ever showed them how to see whatβs actually happening. This course exists to change that. The Golden Strength Adaptive Specialist Course is built on a simple belief build the human first, then the athlete This is where coaches learn how to work with the nervous system, not against it. Where behavior starts to make sense, movement becomes more connected, and sessions stop feeling like guesswork and start feeling intentional. Whether youβre a coach, teacher, therapist, parent, or someone who simply wants to do this the right way, this gives you a clear system for real people in real environments. Youβll learn how to See behavior as communication and respond with clarity instead of frustration Train the body as a connected system so movement becomes more natural, efficient, and repeatable Guide athletes through Human to Athlete to Skill so progress actually sticks Build sessions that adapt in real time without losing structure or direction This is not about adding more information. Itβs about changing how you see whatβs in front of you so you can make better decisions in the moment. Every enrollment includes access to a live Golden Strength Movement Clinic where youβll step into the system, hands on, and see it all come to life with real athletes and real coaching. This is not just a certification. Itβs a different way to coach.

Introducing Coach Henry Aviles, Founder of Golden Strength Academy
Coach Henry Aviles is a performance coach who has spent nearly two decades working with youth, professional, and adaptive athletes. His work has always been rooted in one belief build the human first, then everything else follows. He is the founder of Golden Strength Academy, one of the West Coastβs leading programs for individuals with special needs, and Functional Speed Academy, where athletes learn how to move, think, and compete at a higher level. Over the years, his coaching has evolved from chasing performance to understanding people. Learning how the nervous system drives behavior, how environment shapes outcomes, and how real progress happens when athletes feel safe, seen, and capable. This course is a reflection of that journey. Itβs built from real sessions, real athletes, and real moments where coaching had to adapt in real time. His mission is simple help coaches lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose so every athlete, no matter their starting point, has a place to grow.
From the Heart, Backed by Real Understanding: Why GSAS Was Built
GSAS was built to solve a problem Coach Henry kept seeing over and over again. Good people with big hearts were being asked to support individuals with special needs without a clear system to guide them. Coaches, teachers, parents, and aides were doing their best, but too much of it came down to trial and error in moments that mattered. Most had never been shown how behavior connects to nervous system state, how the body works as a connected system, or how environment, language, and touch can either support or overwhelm an athlete. They cared deeply, but they were left trying to piece it together on the fly. Golden Strength Adaptive Specialist was created to close that gap. GSAS gives you a shared language that helps families, coaches, and staff work from the same page. It gives you a practical Human to Athlete to Skill framework for progress. It helps you see behavior as communication, not defiance, and build sessions that respect both the nervous system and the real world environment you are coaching in. This is bigger than a course. It is a better way to coach. When more people are equipped with real understanding, practical tools, and a system they can trust, more doors open for the special needs community. That is why GSAS exists. That is the standard. That is the movement.

Got Questionsβ Weβre Glad You Asked.
π§ Iβve worked with adaptive populations before. Will this actually teach me something new? Yes. GSAS is not recycled content from general fitness, special education, or surface level inclusion training. It gives you a deeper system for understanding how behavior, regulation, movement, environment, and coaching decisions all connect in real time. Even experienced professionals walk away realizing they were missing the bridge between caring deeply and knowing exactly what to do in the moment. GSAS helps close that gap with a framework you can apply immediately in any setting. π₯ Who is this course for? This course is for coaches, therapists, educators, aides, gym owners, parents, and anyone who wants to better support individuals with special needs through movement and human first coaching. If you are experienced, GSAS sharpens your lens and strengthens your system. If you are new, it gives you a clear path forward without overwhelm. The outcome is the same. Better understanding, better decisions, and better results for real people. π± Iβm brand new to adaptive fitness. Can I still take this course? Absolutely. You do not need a therapy background or years of experience to begin. You need empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. GSAS breaks complex ideas into clear, usable steps so you can understand what you are seeing, why it matters, and how to respond with confidence. ποΈ What equipment do I need? Very little. The Golden Strength model is built to be low equipment, highly adaptable, and usable in the real world. You can do a lot with open space, simple props, and the right coaching lens. This is about results, not resources. π‘ Is this just another inclusive fitness course? No. GSAS goes far beyond surface level inclusion. You will learn how to understand the nervous system and regulation, see behavior as communication, train the body as a connected system, and build sessions that are emotionally safe and physically meaningful. This is not about checking boxes. It is about becoming a coach who can lead with both compassion and precision. 𧩠How is this different from adaptive PE or special education resources? GSAS does not replace education, therapy, or clinical care. It connects them. This course gives you tools that bridge emotional state, physical readiness, movement quality, and real time decision making so you can coach effectively in the environments you are actually in. π How do I apply what I learn in my current setting? That is exactly what this course is built for. Whether you work in a school, clinic, gym, or home, you will leave with a Human to Athlete to Skill framework, session templates, coaching language, cueing strategies, and regulation tools you can use immediately. This is not theory. This is application. π€ Will this help grow my business or professional reach? Yes. GSAS helps you become more effective, more clear in your communication, and more valuable to the people you serve. You will be featured in the GSA Provider Directory, giving families and organizations a direct way to find and refer to you. You will also gain language and systems that elevate your credibility and trust. π₯ What is the GSA One Day Movement Clinic, and why does it matter? This is where everything comes to life. You will step into a live, in person environment where you practice coaching, refine your eye, build real sessions, and see how nervous system first training works with real athletes. This is where knowledge turns into confidence. π¬ What support is available during the course? You will be part of the GSA Community, a private network of coaches, therapists, educators, and leaders who are all committed to building the human first. This is your space to ask questions, share ideas, and continue growing beyond the course. π³ What are the payment options? You can pay upfront at a discount or choose monthly installments. We believe in accessibility without lowering the standard. β What if the course isnβt what I expected? We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. No pressure. No catch. If it is not the right fit, we will make it right. At the end of the day, this course exists for one reason To help you coach with clarity, confidence, and purpose so more individuals with special needs get the experience they deserve That is the standard That is the work That is the movement
